Kindergarten Volunteer Day 2

Today was  Wacky-Wednesday Which means they got to wear what ever they wanted and not match. But I walked in to a sub,I seen a hole new sign. I remember being in school and there being a sub and kids going crazy.But it was an older lady and we had to listen. But some how she knew my mom by the time she got to know me. So I had sit there and fly right if you knew what I mean.

But this sub was an ex-teacher she tells me and that during the cuts she decided  to be a stay home mom and then decided to come back and be floating sub.Pretty smart Idea.I was impressed. Inspired again.

Then the teacher came back and taught the children

Kindergarten Volunteer Day One

My sister came up with the wise and smart idea that i should volunteer my time instead of being at star bucks everyday. So, I decided to volunteer in my nephew classroom. He teacher Gladly accepted me. Jeremiah had to introduce me to his class. As an Auntie and the children has to ask me questions. It felt good to tell children about yourself. Interesting questions to say the least.

1. what school did go to?

2. did you go to Kindergarten?

3. Job?

yada. But Then there is this child name Horiad. He is-very bright just not challenged enough I would say. so She had me to a game with him. I did numbers,letters, and played blocks and bean bags and other things to keep him interested until he ran out of gas. He ran out alright and was jumping on the table. I said okay. and  took him back to class. and then we did another break out session and other activities with the other children. 

Then, We waited until Isaiah got of school. and then too a nature walk to the skate park and waited for Sister to come and went home. 

Thinking

My sisters mom went into rehab three months ago. And she felt lonely today and decided to drink. I feel sorry for her and i don't get how you can drink your life away.
